As at the time of writing Weebly review, Weebly has more than 10 million registered users, and is one of the fastest growing FREE website builders in the markets. In my opinion, some of the key reasons why it is growing so quickly relative to other website builders are due to:
- Free for all users. It only takes you a few seconds to sign up and all you need is an email address. No catch. No credit cards required. Only a small unobtrusive advertisement of Weebly at the very bottom of the website on the footer section - an excellent trade off for a free tool
- Purest drag-and-drop website builder in the market today. It is super intuitive to use it literally takes you a few minutes of playing around to realize that you can actually build a functional and beautiful website without being a hardcore website designer and website builder!
- Hosting is included for free
- Weebly provides you with your own domain name for free. For example, your domain name will be yourwebsitename.weebly.com. If you wish to change it to your own domain name that you have purchased, you can do that easily
- Customizable template design option for those who know a little bit about CSS and HTML. If not, you can check out DivTag Templates for pre-made Weebly templates
- Search engine friendly - in my views, my websites rank with Google search engine pretty well. Not sure why that is the case, but they just do (you may have a different experience than mine but I'm just sharing my personal experiences!)
- Traffic tracking tool - Weebly tracks all the traffic from visitors going to your website. If you choose to use Google Analytics, installation just takes a couple of minutes
- Allows blogging and also integrates e-commerce functions
How easy is it to use Weebly? Watch a Video Tutorial
As mentioned above, Weebly is probably the easiest website builder available to everybody. It has a very easy to use drag-and-drop platform, all for free. It really just that easy, drag an element from a menu of tools down to the website building screen and that's it. Weebly takes care of all the codings behind the scene so you don't have to worry about any of those technical stuff.
